American Idol Final Four Perform Music From Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Last week, the final five on American Idol performed two songs each by Neil Diamond, and Brooke White was eliminated from the competition. This week, the final four on American Idol will take on the theme of songs from the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.

On Tuesday, May 6 from 8 PM to 9 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed on FOX, David Archuleta, David Cook, Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado will take the stage to perform their favorite music from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Just for the record, Brooke White was thinking about singing “Help Me” by Joni Mitchell if she had made it through to this week.

On Wednesday, May 7 from 9 PM to 10 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed on FOX, one more finalist will be eliminated on the American Idol final four results show. Also, Maroon 5 and former American Idol 4 runner-up Bo Bice will give live performances.

Maroon 5 has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. They won a Grammy award as Best New Artist in 2005. Their debut album was “Songs About Jane.” Bo Bice was the runner-up during season four of American Idol. Bice’s first album after American Idol was called “The Real Thing,” and he recently released a second album called “See The Light.”

Here are the songs they sang :

David Cook – Hungry Like the Wolf & Baba O’Riley

Syesha Mercado – Proud Mary & A Change is Gonna Come
